THE WALKING TOUR
A two-hour excursion starting at Diocletian’s palace. And in the palace, itself, after viewing the cellars and the Peristyle in central square, you’ll come across the architectural splendour that is St Dominus’ Cathedral. A catholic Cathedral dating back to the 7th century. After the cathedral you will visit the beautiful Roman Temple of Jupiter. Concluding the trip with a visit to Fruit Square and the People’s Square.

The Hvar Island Blue Cave Tour
This is a full day excursion and a real adventure that will give you a memory of a lifetime. Take a relaxing cruise to one of only two blue caves in the world. At the next stop, Stiniva Cove, you will have the opportunity to swim in the crystal-clear water before continuing the adventure to the Islet Budiokovac passing the delightful Pakleni Islands as you go.
Kayaking or canoeing
During the day, why not try Kayaking or canoeing. You can rent a Kayak on your own or join one of the groups. There are even stand-up illuminated paddle boards to rent in the evenings. Now there’s an experience, you’re going to want a selfie of.
If you’re of the sportier persuasion, experience an ultimate adventure on a 3-hour extreme canyoning tour of the Cetina River. Walk and hike your way through the small rapids, swim in crystal-clear pools and rappel down steep cliffs. You’ll need the guide for this one.
There’s a lot to see and do very close to our hotels in Split. If you need to go further afield, the bus station is only a short walk, with the train station not much further.
A one-minute walk will take you to Split’s famous Fish Market. The Peskarija as it is called here, is a special experience. It’s open from 6.30 am and the most popular fish are picarels, sprats, mackerels, sardines and anchovies.
The People’s Square and the City clock are also just a minute from the hotel. The People’s square is a lively place with magnificent Renaissance and Baroque architecture, charming cafes and happy people.
